Position Summary The Production Team Member is responsible for the production and/or packaging of a variety of manufactured products.
The Production Team Member position serves on the daily production line of our sauces, while supporting other areas of our manufacturing process.
Responsibilities Must be able to work well with others Work hard and pay attention to detail Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, and sorting Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the team supervisor Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Maintain facility in a clean and orderly condition Assist in the set-up, breakdown, and cleaning of the production line Ensure the product being handled meets standards of quality Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices Follow safety and hygiene regulations Assist with seasonal projects Assist with warehouse duties as needed Perform other related duties as assigned Physical Demands May be required to stand for long periods of time Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks Must be able to lift 50
pounds on a regular basis May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold Requirements Team player Treat everyone with dignity and respect Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization Perform basic mathematical skills Perform basic visual quality inspections on products Maintain the production pace of other team members Must pass criminal background check and drug-screen Must have valid I.
